How can you grow at Stone & Bridges?


To answer this question we asked Guilia about her experience working at Stone & Bridges. Since joining the team, she's transitioned from a newcomer to a guide for new team members. In this interview, we explore her initial expectations, her evolving role, and her aspirations within the company.


Can you share your journey of working at Stone & Bridges?

Absolutely! My journey started just three months ago. The initial week was all about intensive training meetings to learn as much as possible. Yet right from day one, I was assisting customers. Fast forward to today, I find myself guiding new colleagues through their onboarding process and taking on much more of a coordinator role.


What attracted you to work at Stone & Bridges?

I saw the opportunity on LinkedIn for a full-time position seeking English and German speakers at Stone & Bridges. Although I'm originally Italian, I studied foreign languages at university for 5 years. In my first interview with Anouk, I immediately felt a positive vibe and a promising path for growth. You can feel working daily in the company that everybody wants to develop and grow. There are many opportunities to express your ideas and yourself in general.

You can really take your thoughts and ideas into the company daily. There’s monthly meetings for ideas exchanges and also one-to-one meetings with Anouk and Lynn. And you can always plan a meeting to share your ideas and show your initiative.


What were your initial expectations of working at Stone & Bridges?

My initial expectations were quite low, given that this was my first venture into a Dutch company. I was uncertain about how I'd fit in due to the cultural differences. However, now I can say that the team is really nice—and international too.

The environment is friendly but also professional. There is always room for a joke or for saying something nice. The communication in the company is the key of Stone & Bridges. You can feel that you are part of something.


How have your responsibilities evolved since joining the team?

When I began, I was working for one brand, SUITSUIT. But as time went on, I gained additional responsibilities and tasks. I'm now training two new team members for a new client, Merrachi. In fact, I'm their go-to source for any questions or concerns regarding the new brand.


What motivated you to take on team lead roles and extra tasks so early in your career at Stone & Bridges?

To me, it's never too early to start seizing opportunities. Since the company is really growing and becoming bigger in terms of new brands we're working with and and new people joining the team, there is room for growth and development for everybody. I was inspired to push my career forward as much as possible. I've always enjoyed embracing new opportunities and challenges, both in my work and beyond. Working here is a great fit because of that.


Can you sum up your experience at Stone & Bridges in three words?

If I had to choose three words, I'd say: communication, organization, and respect.


How do you manage the balance between your responsibilities as an agent and the additional tasks you've taken on?

I've always been organized. I start each day with a clear plan in mind. The key is to tackle tasks according to their priority. Typically, the extra tasks are well-structured in advance, allowing me to focus my morning energy on daily agent duties and then address additional tasks.


What would you say to potential employees who are considering joining the Stone & Bridges team?

I would say, don't hesitate to explore the possibility of working for Stone & Bridges!
